Each year, Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES) organises an annual conference which is normally held in February. The aim of these events is to promote the profession of agricultural and resource economics in Australia and other countries, and to foster – in all sections of the economy – interest in and understanding of the economic issues affecting primary industries, resources and the environment.
The AARES 2017 Annual Conference was taken place at the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre in Brisbane from 7 – 10 February 2017. The Local Organising Committee was currently putting together a terrific program of world-renowned speakers and a full and fun social program.
